Miss Str8 Excite about Ova Me

JAMAICA-BORN, Austria-based up-and-coming dancehall artiste Miss Str8 is anticipating great reviews for the single Ova Me and the accompanying video released last Friday.
Both are expected to premiere this week.
"It is really a catchy and 'vibsy' song. The concept came through well in the video. It's basically showing what it's like when a man has an intensely strong desire for you. I am ecstatic at what my team was able to put together as the finished product looks real hot," said the 27-year-old.
Ova Me, the single, was produced by Tom Hype Productions. The video, however, was shot by Austrian directors Jami Dread and Dwayne Julius and features Nuhbadda We and the Wild Out dance crews.
"I believe dancing is a very important expression from music. To get these dancers in the video was a must for me they brought the energy and real dancehall vibes," she told the Jamaica Observer.
Miss Str8, whose given name is Sanchia Lingard, spent her earlier years in Portland and is a past student of Titch-field High School. She migrated to Austria in 2004.
"It didn't take long for me to settle in the Austrian dancehall scene. In addition to my lyrics, I stood out with a collaboration of sexy outfits and creative dance moves," she said.
In 2010, she released her debut song Nuh Care. Her other releases include Wine, Summer Wine, and a collab with Busy Signal called Ring the Alarm.
