Fire Links defeats Richie Feelings

Veteran selector Fire Links went home $1 million richer, as he defeated the talkative Richie Feelings in this season's grand finale of the Magnum All-STAR Face-off. Along with the prize money, Fire Links is the only sound system in the competition left undefeated.
Richie Feelings started the clash stating that he was inviting God in his presence. Songs likePraise His Name by Sanchez, Praise Ye Jah by Sizzla and Plea My Cause by Junior X were played.
"All who kno sey dem nuh fraid a bull cow or duppy conquer," he shouted, before stepping up his selections to include Mavado's Full Clip and Bounty Killer's Talk To Dem. For those selections, he received strong responses.
Fire Links came with much fanfare. He also started on a religious note by playing So Blessed by Mavado. However, without much hesitation, he jumped into his regular war-mode playing a slew of hard-hitting dub plates. Songs like Sound Fi Dead and Nitty Kutchie's Bad Man, had patrons in a frenzy. "Somebody tell mi sey yu nuh hav nuh Bounty Killer in a yu box, yu dead," he warned Richie Feelings and played Bounty Killer's Action Speak.
The round went to Fire Links. however, Richie Feelings was commended for a good show.
For the challenge round, each sound system was instructed to play songs from Bounty Killer. NotableBounty Killer singles played by Richie Feelings includeNot Another Word and Spy Fi Die. He received strong responses.
Fire links replied with a song he claimed was Bounty Killer's first crowd favourite."A dis yah song buss Bounty Killer to the world likkle boy, a Seaview mi come from." He received a roaring response and concluded with Lodge andCellular Phone.
The round again went to Fire Links. The judges also taunted Richie Feelings, stating that he is a good selector. However, he should never underestimate Fire Links in musical warfare.
sledge hammer
The 45 round which followed was again one-sided in favour of Fire Links. Richie Feelings' crowd responses were quite tame and during his set only Demarco's Talk Yu Mind team, headed by promoter Walk and Talk seemed to be rooting for the selector. Walk and Talk was like a one-man band clapping two pot covers above his head in support of Richie Feelings.
Fire Links, on the other hand, seemed to be killing an ant with a sledge hammer and he rallied more of the audience behind him by changing his clothes to wear a farmer's outfit and stating: "Dem sey mi fi carry some yam fi yu Richie Feelings, cuz yu fi done with music after tonight". He then played Sugar Minott's Oh Mr DC among other classics. Fire links won the round.
It would be unrealistic to say the dub-for-dub round was the deciding round this week as Fire Links could only lose the battle at this point if he literally handed the victory to Richie Feelings. Already firmly in the lead, Fire Links dipped into his catalogue and came up with classic dub-plates from John Holt, Jah Cure, Gregory Isaacs, Cocoa Tea among others. Richie Feelings opted for Beenie Man, Tarrus Riley, Vybz Kartel, among others.
At the end of the round, Fire Links felt the victory was too easy and begged the judges to give Richie Feelings a chance to redeem himself and play three additional songs. However, Richie Feelings quickly turned off his equipment, packed his bags and exited the stage at speeds of Usain Bolt.
"Video this a joke this, the man a pack up and run star," Fire Links said as Richie Feelings sought to avoid further
