Pimpin' Curly Is More Interesting Than 50 Cent

50 Cent being "irrelevant" didn't prevent Rick Ross from sending a some shots his way during a stop at The Breakfast Club  this morning.

In the midst of a busy promotional week that began with a New York City concert backed by band 1500 or Nothin', Ross dropped in to Power 105.1's top-rated morning show to talk more about Mastermind than beef, but landed a blow at 50 in the process. 

To start, Rozay said, he didn't really notice that Fif called him gay because the Queens MC wasn't in character as his fictitious alter ego, "Pimpin' Curly." No curly wig, means Ross isn't interested. "Was he in his Pimpin' Curly mode?" The Bawse asked. "If he wasn't in Pimpin' Curly, I ain't really moved."

He also never got around to actually looking at 50's jab on Instagram because he's been busy working, said Ross. "You know we ain't got time for that. We winning, check the score board ... we running the numbers up high and you know that's what it is," he declared before sending a message to 50. "Put the wigs on for us, that's when we enjoyed it… other than, we gone keep gettin' this money. All the real dudes with real legacies [are] a part of this [Mastermind album]."

Rozay's aforementioned sixth studio release dropped on iTunes early Tuesday (March 4), and will more than likely take No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Mastermind is executive produced by Diddy with guest spots from Lil Wayne, Kanye West, and his former rap rival Jeezy. Unlike the 50 situation, Jeezy and Ross were able to squash their beef "and chopped it up like bosses," according to the 38-year-old rap star.

Elsewhere on the Ross promo train, the "Devil Is A Lie" spitter took on more media fodder. Yesterday, he hit up MTV's Rap Fix Live and addressed his past as a corrections officer, which he originally denied but rhymes about on the Mastermind track "Rich Is Gangsta." Seven years after his job was exposed, Ross now says he'd take the gig again. "It's just a job, it's a hustle," he explained. "I wouldn't change nothin' … 'cause to me it's about who Rozay is. It's about me, anywhere I go and I step in the room, people know it's authentic 'round here …. and right now, to feed my family, I'd do it again."
